Bra Size in Centimeters
Measure in cm, get your size in every system, and understand why a 75 label doesn't mean 75 centimeters.
Measure in cm
Why the EU label isn't your centimeters. An 84 cm underbust is a US 34 band, which the EU labels 75: the label follows US × 2.5 − 10, not the raw reading. That is why a converted size can feel a step off from a bra drafted natively in EU sizing.
From centimeters to a label
Read left to right: your centimeter reading becomes inches, the inches become the US band, and the EU and FR labels are converted from that band: which is why the EU label is not your centimeters.
Labels vs centimeters
| Underbust (cm) | ≈ inches | US band | EU label | FR label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 68 cm | 26.8″ | 28 | 60 | 75 |
| 73 cm | 28.7″ | 30 | 65 | 80 |
| 78 cm | 30.7″ | 32 | 70 | 85 |
| 84 cm | 33.1″ | 34 | 75 | 90 |
| 89 cm | 35.0″ | 36 | 80 | 95 |
| 94 cm | 37.0″ | 38 | 85 | 100 |
| 99 cm | 39.0″ | 40 | 90 | 105 |
| 104 cm | 40.9″ | 42 | 95 | 110 |
| 109 cm | 42.9″ | 44 | 100 | 115 |
Two centimeter systems. Some brands drafted natively in EU sizing grade the band from your centimeter reading in 5 cm steps (73–77 cm → 75); the conversion convention used across international charts maps the US band instead. They usually agree within one band; when they don't, the sister size settles it.
Bra size in cm: answered
How do I calculate my bra size in cm?
Measure the underbust snugly and the bust at the fullest point in centimeters, convert to inches (÷ 2.54), round the underbust to the nearest even band, and take one cup letter per inch of difference. The calculator above does it.
Is a 75 EU band 75 cm?
No. EU 75 corresponds to a US 34 band, whose underbust is about 84 cm. The label follows the conversion (US × 2.5 − 10), not the raw measurement.
What is 90 cm bust in bra size?
It depends on the underbust: with a 74 cm underbust (US 30 band, ≈ 29″) a 90 cm bust (≈ 35.4″) is a 30DDD; with an 84 cm underbust (34 band) it is a 34A/B. Use the bust-in-cm pages.
How many cm is one cup size?
About 2.5 cm of bust-minus-band difference per cup letter.
